High performance and easy repair Flywheel dry sleeve fire hydrants are designed with a breakable flange and a tie rod coupling that prevent leakage and enable easy repair in case of traffic collision disruptions. The main valve of the fire hydrant has a ductile iron core completely covered with EPDM rubber. The nozzle section can rotate 360 degrees. The upper part of the fire hydrant can be repaired under pressure. The dry sleeve fire hydrant has two drain outlets located just above the water main level. The main valve disc is designed to keep the drainage channels free of soil and other foreign matter during opening, as these foreign materials may cause damage to the main valve disc. Additionally, when the fire hydrant is closed after service, the barrel will drain the water from the drainage holes in the bottom.
